I recently stayed at Fitzsimons Hotel in Temple Bar, which has a fantastic central location perfect for exploring Dublin's nightlife and attractions. However, I faced several inconveniences during my stay, including cold room temperatures and noise from the bar and street below. While I appreciated the atmosphere and lively vibe, the lack of soundproofing made it hard to get a good night's rest.

Rooms

The room had spacious elements, but there were issues like heating that didn’t work properly and faint odors of cigarette smoke. I did have access to a balcony that offered great views, but the overall feel was compromised.
Service

I found the staff friendly, though they seemed somewhat dismissive when I brought up room issues like the cold and lack of hot water.
Location

The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Temple Bar, making it easy to walk everywhere and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
Dining
6.0
While there was a breakfast included, I felt rushed a bit during the meal service. Given the lively bar atmosphere, dining in the lower bar area felt a bit off.
Facilities

Facilities seemed adequate with a lively bar scene, but the noise at night made it challenging to relax and enjoy the experience fully. Cleanliness was there, but the comfort level was lacking.

The Fitzsimons Hotel Temple Bar has an unbeatable location right in the heart of Dublin, making it perfect for nightlife and attractions. However, I found my room to be quite dated and a bit cramped, which detracted from my experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, which is a plus. Overall, while the hotel offers good value given its central setting, I felt that it needs some serious refurbishing.

I loved the central location in Temple Bar, making it easy to explore Dublin's nightlife. However, the noise level was unbearable, especially with music blasting until 3 AM and street cleaners starting at 6 AM. While the staff were friendly and the room was clean, it felt quite basic and tired, needing some serious refurbishing.

Rooms

My room was rather worn down, with some shoddy features like loose plug sockets and a shower that droned loudly. Despite the discomfort, the bed was comfy enough for a decent night's sleep.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Fitzsimons Hotel in Temple Bar. The hotel's central location was fantastic for exploring Dublin's nightlife, and I really enjoyed the lively atmosphere created by the live bands in the bar. However, my room did not meet my expectations, with outdated decor, a lingering smell, and some maintenance issues. The friendly staff were a highlight, but overall, I wish I could rate my experience more positively.

While the rooftop bar offered nice views, I found the limitations on its hours quite frustrating. The overall facilities felt lacking compared to what I anticipated for the price I paid.

I had an enjoyable stay at Fitzsimons Hotel Temple Bar, as the central location made it easy for me to explore Dublin's nightlife and attractions. The staff were friendly and the room was clean, but I did struggle with noise from outside and found it a bit hard to sleep with the festive celebrations. Overall, I appreciated the value for money, especially considering the lively atmosphere around the hotel.
